Flexible Finishing Solutions
Jason Newville, Delta IndustrialDelta Industrial designs and manufactures custom web converting equipment. One of their base machines, the Spectrum, was designed to operate as a machine for finishing labels. The basic functions of the Spectrum machine are to apply an overcoat or varnish to the web, die-cut the labels using flexible die technology, strip and rewind the matrix, and slit the labels into lanes and rewind. Delta Industrial has many options that can be included on the equipment that range from a sheeter with a shingling conveyor to a laser die-cutting module. A benefit of the Delta machine is the flexibility to be rearranged into a machine that can convert many other types of parts besides labels with little to no cost added. They can make adapters to fit your large inventory of rotary tooling into one of their rotary modules and do a registered die-cut to the web with them.
